Israel Pilgrimage Tour-7 Days of faith & History

DAY 1: TLV / BETHLEHEM

Arrival Tlv. Air-port (ET Airline) at 04:00 O'clock, meet and assist with our local staff, Drive to the hotel in Bethlehem for breakfast and rest.

At 09:00 drive to visit the ancient Church of the Nativity and touch the very place where Jesus was born. We shall also visit the "Milk Grotto" and the "Shepherds Fields" in Beth-Sahour. After the lunch and Shopping drive to visit Ein Karem, the place where John the Baptist was born.

DAY 2: BETHLEHEM / MT. OLIVES / JERICHO / D. SEA / JERUSALEM

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Mt. Olives in Jerusalem, where we will visit the Ascension Chapel from where Jesus ascended into Heaven. Visit the Church of Pater Noster witness the “Lord’s Prayer” written in several languages, the Dominus Flevit, where the Lord wept over Jerusalem.

Proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane along the Triumphant Entry route and see the Rock of Agony, the place where Jesus prayed before His arrest. Drive to visit Jericho, where we will view the Mt of temptation, view remains of the walls of the old Jericho, the springs of Elisha and Zaccheus tree.

After the lunch in Jericho, proceed to the D. Sea where we will float for 1 hrs.

DAY 3: MT. ZION / OLD CITY JERUSALEM

After the breakfast, drive to visit the Mount Zion area to see the Upper Room where Jesus and His disciples had their last supper with his disciples. See also King David’s tomb, the Dormition Abbey from where the Virgin Mary went into eternal sleep and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu where Peter denied Christ three times.

We shall see the dungeons where Jesus spent some time before he was taken to the pretorium. After the lunch in Jerusalem, continue to do the Via Dolorosa starting from the first station (condemnation) to the fourteenth station inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher where Jesus was crucified, died and buried. We enter the empty tomb of Jesus. We visit various sites in the Holy Sepulchure.

Then continue crossing the old City of Jerusalem to the remains of the Holy Temple of Jerusalem - the Wailing Wall.

DAY 4: JAFFA / HAIFA / NAZARETH

After breakfast and check out at the hotel, drive to pass away Caesarea, where King Herod the Great built his Palace. We will visit the aqua duct. After the lunch in Mt. Carmel. We see the Elijah’s cave and the Monastery of Stella Maris and the Baha'i.

Drive to Nazareth for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: ISRAEL

After breakfast at the hotel drive to climb Mt Tabor (Mt. of Transfiguration) where Jesus was transfigured. Drive to visit the Jordan River and then drive to visit Cana of Galilee and taste the wine similar to that of the first miracle, drive to visit Nazareth for lunch.

After the lunch we will all the sites in Nazareth (visit there the Basilica and the Grotto of the Annunciation, House of Joseph in Nazareth).

DAY 6: ISRAEL

After breakfast and check out at the hotel, drive to the Sea of Galilee and visit the Mt. of Beatitudes. Proceed to Tabgha where Jesus fed 5000 men with two fish and five loaves, walk down to Primacy of Peter (Mensa Christi), then proceeding to the town of Christ (Capernaum).

Also we will sail on the Sea of Galilee in a boat similar to the one used by Jesus and his disciples. After the lunch, drive to visit Jaffa. Visit the house of Simon the Tanner where Peter had the Vision of the Flesh, and visit St. Peter’s Church.

DAY 7: ISRAEL

Check out and transfer to the airport.
