4 Days, 3 Nights Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha Safari Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Morning:
Pickup from your hotel/airport at 7:00 AM in Nairobi.
Drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, stopping at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for panoramic photos.
Arrive at Mara Intrepid Camp or similar in time for lunch.
Afternoon:
Embark on your first afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara. Witness the abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and more.
Evening:
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Morning:
Early morning game drive at sunrise, the perfect time to spot predators and other wildlife.
Return to the camp for a hearty breakfast.
Day Activities:
Spend the day exploring the Maasai Mara on extensive game drives.
Spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo) and, depending on the season, witness the Great Migration (July–October).
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve or return to the camp for a hot meal.
Evening:
Relax and enjoy dinner at the camp, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
Morning:
After breakfast, check out of the camp and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 5–6 hours).
Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge in time for lunch.
Afternoon Game Drive:
Explore Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos, white and black rhinos, and Rothschild giraffes.
Visit the Baboon Cliff Viewpoint for stunning views of the lake.
Evening:
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha and Back to Nairobi
Morning:
After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha (approximately 1.5 hours).
Crescent Island Activities:
Take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you’ll see hippos, fish eagles, and other water birds.
Visit Crescent Island for a walking safari, where you’ll walk among giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes in a serene environment.
Afternoon:
Have lunch at a local restaurant or lodge near Lake Naivasha.
Return to Nairobi:
Depart Lake Naivasha and head back to Nairobi (approximately 2–3 hours).
Drop off at your hotel or the airport in the late afternoon.
